Quite a few Ericsson collector items which gone not reported. One of the item is this Ericsson Unofficial MP3, it is not sold worldwide because there are another approved version which I am going to talk about next time.
This Ericsson MP3 was sold in Taiwan since this is really sourced from Taiwan but do not make it to other international market. It works also as handsfree when it is plug into a Ericsson phone. It can also be power up and use as a single unit MP3. The rectangle box at the top is the battery compartment. It can run on single AAA battery.

Other items that I have seen are Ericsson Coca Cola phone. I never got one really but again I am sure there exist in Taiwan. Taiwanese reallly creative and innovative..

Just when you thought you have full sets of T28s, along comes the T28 world. Why it is known as the world? It means it can be used all over the world except Japan and other CDMA based countries such as Japan, Korea, US, India.
The world here also means GSM900 and 1900.
A normal dual band phone means GSM 900 and 1800.
So, the T28 world is actually a dual band phone, just that the other band is GSM1900.

Ericsson GH688

Ericsson GH688 is perhaps when Ericsson Mobile is at the peak. Everyone wants an Ericsson phone. I think this phone was sold at US 571 back in 1997 if I am not mistaken. I am not sure if this is a single band GSM 900 phone.

This phone definitely have a sister i.e. GA 628. They share the same PCB board. It is very clever of Ericsson to make 2 phones with same PCB board. Great cost savings. Both GA 628 and GH688 use the same PCB boards with board for GA628 will have less electronics components mounted. A great seller

Sisters of A1018s

The left side is really a common blue A1018s but the white, I have not seen anyone using it. Rare huh? As everyone knows Ericsson name phone model after a female name. A blue chick and a white babe with spiky hair..maybe a Swede name.. Lotta? Charlotta? Maria?

The A1018s actually do not come with Games but guess what? Hackers from the outside world wrote a Games for this phone. The one I can remember is Tetris. Well, Ericsson is great Telecom engineers company. Phones were develop for telecommunication use, to be tied up with the great RBSs, Radio base Stations and eventually to the great switches such as the AXE. At one time, there are really many AXE engineers, no... no that axe and hammer.. not the woodcutter..

Brothers.. T39 and R520

The T39s and R520m are actually brothers or even twins. The R520m is very long and the T39s is very small but they are twin, just like Arnold S and Danny D. They used the same CPU technology. If you are able to implant the CPU from R520m into T39s it will work and will have heartbeat, haha. But CPU in this phone is not removable...

For me, I really think the T39s is the nicest phone Ericsson ever produced especially the white one on the left.

The first phone in the world with Camera?

I really think this might be the first phone in the world with camera capability. The R520 and the MCA 10 camera unit can takes pictures and send thru MMS. The camera also works with T39s phone. The R520 is also perhaps the first phone with GPRS capability. It has a special snooze function for alarm which it can be activated or deactivated by waving our hand across it. Amazing huh?

How this is done? Apparently, a proximity sensor is implemented at the top section of the phone. So when you wave your hand, it is detected and therefore deactivate the corresponding alarm function.

The other new technology implemented that time is the in foil decoration, i.e. the decorative foil, the gold copper foil is moulded with plastic during plastic injection molding process. At that time, this is really an expensive technology. Besides that, I think it is also a two color mould, one color is for the substrate and the other is for the IRDA window. That makes this plastic parts super expensive.

R600 Champagne Gold Ericsson Original

Not much is known about this R600. The CPU implemented is totally different from other Sweden designed and developed phones. Plastics cover implemented not as sturdy as others. Internal antennas implemented perhaps patch antenna technology. Multiple color LEDs are used namely red, green, yellow or a mixture of primary color LED to produce the effect of secondary color such as green and yellow and orange. Sold
