I bought this phone from Taiwan. It is supposed to be waterproof and I do not use this phone extensively. The antenna I guess is known as Sharkfin antenna. I did saw a guy used this way back.
This phone is marketed as a tough, robust phone. A guy with a mountain bike drop this phone into the mudhole and just pick it up and use again. There is a lot of comments received saying that this phone should not just be advertised as tough phone and only for mountain climbing and biking use only. It should also be used by the mass population. Again, I am not sure how many people have this phone! but I supported Ericsson at all cost.
